Close Krita and restart, open Help -> Show system information for bug reports, scroll down to the last entry (or rather, the one before) and copy it and paste to some pastebin website, for example. Does anything appears on the docker? Wait several minutes. Turn on logging (the first icon on the left). Please check "Log Viewer" in Settings -> Dockers. What file format do you use? If you use the 4.1.7 appimage, does it allow you to save? Is there anything special about the place you try to save to? (Dropbox/OneDrive folder etc., no space.) Do you get the progress bar, does Krita warn you before exiting that the saving is taking place? Is there anything special about your file itself, is it with animation for example, or is it very big?
